Race night success

Holloway Gaels would like to thank everyone who attended our race night fundraiser held on Saturday night in the Quays of Holloway Road. The club would like to extend special thanks to the Quays, all those who sponsored races, horses and raffle prizes on the night and to all the committee who helped organise.

Official opening of Downhills Park

Holloway Gaels are delighted to announce the official opening of our home grounds and club house in Downhills Park, Haringey on this Saturday the 27th June. Together with Éire Óg GAA and Finsbury Park Men's Rugby Club, the club invites you all to join in this momentous day! Fun starts from 2pm. Hope to see you there. This is a free family event for all to attend with BBQ, music and activities.

London Intermediate Championship

Holloway takes on Fulham Irish in the London Intermediate Final on Sunday 5th July in Greenford. Throw in 11am. All support much appreciated.

Gaelic4Girls continues

This programme continues for another 3 weeks every Saturday from 10.30am at the Gaelic Football pitch in Downhills Park (Downhills Park Road & Belmont Road end). Gaelic4Girls is open to girls aged 8-12yrs who are not part of a Ladies Gaelic Football Club and who are interested in learning the skills of the game. All girls from the local and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend and learn the skills of Ladies Gaelic Football from enthusiastic coaches on a fun basis. All girls will be presented with a Gaelic4Girls t-shirt and certificate. A major bonus from the programme is that all participants will get the chance to participate in a Mini Blitz with another Gaelic4Girls site. The entire programme is free. Anybody who would like more details on this programme is asked to email Ciara Holland at development@hollowaygaels.org
